Welcome to Bristol Beat Radio! We at The BEAT, Bristol’s Rock Mix are proud to be the latest addition to this great City. The Beat is a community radio station that streams around the world, but focuses on everything Bristol, Connecticut. Besides playing a large variety of Rock ‘n Roll, we provide multiple community services.
Our number one program is the State of the City with Mike Anthony. On the show Mike Anthony’s guests consists of leaders on our local government along with leaders of local organizations. This allows a more in depth look in to the people who work very hard to make Bristol a better place to live.
We have also included several new shows to our programming. Take a trip back in time by tuning in to The Bristish Invasion with Barry Eva. The show highlights British music from the 1960’s to the mid 1970’s. We have also included Derek & the Deep Trax featuring music from the 1970’ & 1980’s. Derek & the Riffman spin songs that go a little further into the music that gave us some of the best Rock ‘n Roll in music history.
Friday nights we have a special rock show with Amy Sunshine and DJ Cubed . They’ll give you some of the best Alt and Modern Rock hits from the 90’s to today. We are building up our Karaoke Nights lineup, right now by adding more local DJs. Mike James gives you 3 hours of Karaoke on the last Wednesday of the month from 7 PM to 10 PM.
